Offence = drooooolllll, honestly like such top 5 offence in the league.
Our Defence on the other hand looks bad, resigning Brodie would help change that or.atleast another capable.NHLer.
But for real.. the top 9 is nuts...

Yeah, but cap-wise we have to sacrifice on the back-end to put that team together (plus signing Mangiapane for only one or two years on this next contract to keep the cap hit low).
The roster I proposed has some cap-space that you could then use at the trade deadline to acquire someone on the back-end.
Hire a top-tier coach that can get strong team defence would also help eliminate the inexperience on the back-end.

Maybe hope to buy low and bring back Little Guf,( hahah not his legit nickname)
Having :
Gio-Anderson
Hanifin-Lil Guf
Kylington-Gudas(if price is right)
Stone
That would make me feel very confident, doesn't have to be Gudas either, just someone very defensively sound. Kylington and another offensive minded player together may not be a great idea.

About 50-60 games of NHL experience on the bottom 3 D there, and the #4 hasn't played a game in 15 months. That does not compute.
It's going to be an interesting off season if Treliving does sign Hall.

There are also “safe” veteran players on the free agent market every summer....er, ah...off-season. Keep Mackey in the AHL, sign two of Michael Stone, Luke Schenn, Alex Petrovic, Kevin Connauton, Yannick Weber.
