I actually think the lucic-bennett-dube line had an amazing run while together. Hoping that it clicks early here.

That leaves jankowski, czarnik as the depth forwards.

As someone who watched Phillips with the Royals ,I am hoping he can show them he belongs on squad . Gonna be hard if he is unable to practice.

Poor historical playoff performances still concern us about the top guys. Yet Bennett actually has a pretty good playoff record for a guy getting 12 minutes or less. The bottom 6 starters on forward will be interesting to say the least. Ryan should be a shoo in after that will Dubes late start hurt him? Whats Lucic like returning after that stoppage? What if Jankowski suddenly starts to shine like he did in his 1st year? lots of questions.

The questions are half of what is making this playoff year entertaining. Hopefully there are some surprises. I like Bennett-Dube as a pair and Lucic-Ryan as a pair. I think that it makes for a more balanced and talented bottom six.

I think you guys are reading too much into it - I think it's just a case of no Ryan yet. However, I do love the idea of a Lucic - Bennett - Dube line.

But that takes Jankowski out of the lineup and he is a better player than Rinaldo, or whoever gets the 4th line wing spot with Ryan. Yes, we could stick Jankowski on the wing, but we still need one more winger:

Jankowski - Ryan - Rieder/Rinaldo/XXXX

Until Ryan was mentioned I got excited to see Bennett at centre, I think that is where he shines best. Hopefully the chemistry with Dube keeps him there.

Sadly the tech department is run by people using 2005 tech.
