With no fans in the buildings, it doesn't really matter. Also by the time the tournament starts, every team will be more than familiar with the rink, the ice, etc... There's really no advantage for any team, except maybe the Coyotes and the Florida teams since they're used to playing in empty arenas.
I dont think the Oilers and Leafs should be permitted to use their locker rooms, unless they're for the use of the home team on the schedule all games. How does that work? I see that as a big advantage.
Reddit post where a guy looked at the code for the NHL scheduling and scraped possible game times:
8:30, 12:30, and 4:30.
Interestingly enough, I was looking for game times last night and couldn’t find them anywhere, including NHL.com. When I looked in my calendar on my iPhone however they were there. I subscribe to the Calgary Flames calendar. I wasn’t sure of their accuracy but they do match up with your post.
This is bad news for the Division leaders. Fans should be very worried. With what happened to TB last year, how do people think they are feeling with thisxschefule?

Coyotes just announced they’re wearing the Kachina jersey for the qualifying round/playoffs. I hope the Flames go full retro set for this entire tournament.

They should take down any Oiler banners too. Don’t want to play under that garbage.
Yes and replace them with jerseys with a quick release switch so they fall onto the ice when the Oilers fail. Give it a real fans in the building vibe!

Well, now that both sides have agreed on a return to play, looks like I can get my mind back on the game of hockey. The Jets are an extremely tough draw and the Flames will have a real handful. Their forward depth is incredible and they have a Vezina caliber goaltender who can steal a series by himself.
I think if the Flames want to win, they’ll need the Mangiapane-Backlund-Tkachuk line to be as good as they were in February. Obviously Gaudreau and Monahan need to contribute and Rittich and/or Talbot will need to be solid. If the Flames can get their PP going quickly and keep the Jets from lighting it up, I like our chances. Looking forward to the series starting.
