I didn't want to get into the whole background on CCM vs Lefevre and the recent split-up, but yes, you're 100% correct. I think you'll see more goalies "staying" with Lefevre -- again, they'd rather stick with the gear (and gear-maker) they trust versus a specific brand name on the front.

I needed a new set last year as I sold my old one when I thought I'd never play again. I wound up with this Bauer Vapor 2x set.

My life goal is to have the disposable cash to get some sweet retro flames colour pads, and beer league it in all flames gear. Cause why the hell not.

I'm not wearing them in that pic, but I have a pair of Flames goalie pant covers I wear. They go well with my team's jerseys! They are from the Kipper/Karlsson era.
Bauer and CCM let you customize now without going full pro level too!

I had a beer league goalie using a pair of Vernon's old pads he had picked up at a used equipment sale.
