Clubhouse and BLT are variations of the same thing, with the club adding some chicken.
I used to love the Clubhouse at St Huberts BBQ (like Swiss Chalet) with their dipping sauce.
AWWWW....I missed St Hubert's sauce, they are so much better than Swiss Chalet's. Many moons ago, I was sent to the Kingston's office for 6 months and I ate at St Hubert's many times, love their sauce.

Cafe Divine in Okotoks (when it existed) had the single best sandwich of all time with leftover Thanksgiving and Christmas turkey
Open faced Turkey sandwich on sourdough, havarti cheese, under the broiler.
Tommy's in Banff had an awesome Turkey sandwich years ago. It was open faced and smothered in gravy. It was my favorite sandwich but at some point their quality went down hill and the last time I had it was a huge disappointment.
I'm satisfied with this result. The clubhouse is definitely up there as a great sandwich. Nothing overly complicated. Just delicious bacon, chicken/turkey/ham, fresh veggies, in between toasted bread.

It basically lost to a BLT with added turkey and another slice of bread
Your take home is that the people like bacon lettuce and tomato on a sandwich
True, if you put it that way. I'm never a cold cut turkey sandwich fan, the only turkey sandwich I like is the real turkey meat after Thanksgiving and Christmas left overs.

Is that when the turkey meets the cranberry sauce?
