Sorry about jumping in with a question.
If I put a 1w player on waivers, and they clear, they remain on my team? Is this also part of the process for a buyout, as in waivers first and then buyout if they clear?

yeah a 1 way player has to be on the CPHL roster at all times. You don't need to waive players if you want to buy them out, but there's no harm in seeing if someone wants to take them off your hands before you bite the bullet.

Just looking at what other GMs are doing, and that roster space at the AHL level seems to be at a premium. I'm not that enamored with Lajoie, so I wasn't that upset about the possible loss, but otherwise just learning on the job.
