Doubt he wants the job. He did say he would do something like that.

The United States has set a new daily record for new daily coronavirus cases as governor’s in some states are forced to pause their reopening’s as infections surge.
The country confirmed a record-breaking 40,401 new cases of the disease on Thursday, surpassing the country's last highest total in April by more than 3,000, The Hill reported.
The incremental rise in numbers in at least 26 states have forced governors in certain states to pause the re-opening of their economies. In Texas, governor Greg Abbott announced that the state would be pausing any further re-openings as the recorded number of cases in the state surpassed 132,000.

Missouri, Nevada, and Alabama also posted record daily highs, according to tallies from The Washington Post. “It is snowballing. We will most certainly see more people die as a result of this spike,” said Dr Marc Boom, president of Houston Methodist Hospital.
CDC Director Robert Redfield on Thursday warned that the scale of the infection across the country is still likely unknown.
“This virus causes so much asymptomatic infection,” Dr Redfield said according to The Hill. “We probably recognised about 10 percent of the outbreak.”

There was a far-right white supremacist rally in Olympia, Washington today. Shortly before the event started, an anonymous donor hired security staff and paid for a country band to perform. The singer got the crowd to chant along to lyrics like "Journalists, what we gonna do? Chop 'em up like Saudis do!" and "Dr. Fauci, what we gonna do? Inject him with the Wuhan Flu!"
Eventually, the neo-Nazi organizers of the rally realized their event attendees were being trolled and tried to cut the mic and get the band off the stage. Except the AV crew and the event security staff worked for the anonymous donor, so they allowed the band to keep playing.
The anonymous donor/singer is allegedly Sacha Baron Cohen.

The rally was organized by local elected Republican officials, who can easily be mistaken for far right wing extremists. The local councilor who is upset with Cohen says he is upset for the local republican elected member of the assembly Matt Marshall along with Allen Acosta who is running for the GOP to try to get elected because they organized this rally and it was ambushed. Odd thing about the 9 minute video, nobody boos, nobody shouts Cohen down, there definitely does not seem to be any opposition.
If you are in the camp of people who think Trump is tanking because he doesn't want to win, retweeting a video where an old white dude says "white power" would be a pretty good piece of evidence he wants out (I don't think we need much more evidence he's a racist)

This retweet is not even remotely close to the most egregious thing he has tweeted and I see no correlation between it and some guarantee that he wants out.

I don't think he wants out, I'm saying if you do think he does then tweeting unfiltered racism as opposed to the usual dog whistles would be a good piece of evidence. And I actually can't remember too many tweets where he's said/retweeted something more overtly racist.

If Trump were to explicitly tweet "white power" as opposed to retweeting a video that he probably had on mute, then it would rank at the top. To me, him directly tweeting that people should start shooting BLM protesters is more offensive, him directly calling people "low class slobs" because they don't agree with him, his attacks on Hispanics, the list goes on.
