Default RIP Joel Schumacher

Legendary director of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin passed away today after a year long battle from cancer. The film he will perhaps be most fondly remembered for was The Lost Boys, a 80s teen horror film about a single mother moving with her two sons to a new town that has a gang of vampires.

The Lost Boys was great right down to the soundtrack. RIP.

I think Phone Booth is still a very underrated little thriller.

Rest in Peace.

I turned that on thinking no way in hell it would be entertaining. Surprisingly good!

Tigerland is really underrated. 8mm was disturbing as well.

Falling Down is a classic. Michael Douglas and Robert Duvall are both fantastic in it. Just rewatched it recently and it still holds up. No way it could have been made today though. No studio would touch that script with a 10-foot pole

The Lost Boys, Falling Down, Tigerland, 8mm, A Time To Kill, The Client, and Phone Booth are all great. Flatliners was pretty fun as well, although I haven't watched that one in a long time. Not sure how well it's aged, but I enjoyed it when it first came out.

Still very watchable.

I didn't realize he did any of the John Grisham movies.
