I thought I would turn this over to you guys to create a list.
Its time for the name your favorite Happy Days character. It could be a main family member, it could be a one off appearance that caught your attention. Tell us who your favorite character was and why. If you want put up the scene that makes that character your favorite.
I'll start with mine.
1) Charles "Chuck" Cunningham
First of all, this wasn't some unknown fade to obsurity actor. Chuck was played by Gavan O'Herlihy. Better known as the jerk Brad in Superman 2, had a appearance in Never Say Never and Willow.
But the character of Chuck is a great character. Why, because one day he went up to get a basketball and was never seen again. Maybe he joined the army like Howard said, or maybe Chuck is part of the house's foundation, and one day when they reboot the series the first thing we'll see is the bones of Chuck.
After his disappearance the show played up like he never existed (Serial Killerish) to the point that at the end of the series, Howard proclaimed how proud he was of his "Two Kids"
Maybe Chuck dribbled the basketball one too many times.

It had to be Chuck, just because he created a whole term based around his disappearance. Characters that just vanished with no real explanation, and were never really mentioned again
Mr Turner - In boy meets world, he gets in a motorcycle accident, everyone visits him in the hospital, and then he vanishes and they don't resolve it until the spin off Girl Meets World.
Seven in married with children, just vanished and was never seen again until he showed up on a Milk cartoon
Yeoman Rand - Was a pretty big character in the first season of Star Trek, and then vanished without a word in the second season
Edna from Laverne and Shirly
Laurie Foreman in that 70's show vanished and was only mentioned in the finale when someone asks if anyone had seen her.
Judy Winslow in Family Matters went to her room in the 5th season and was never mentioned again.
Poor Kate Lockley in Angel, she was an excellent character first as an ally and then as an enemy of Angel. She attempted suicide and survived it the writers just ended her without wrapping up her story.

Actually when they graduate form high school, they run into Minkus in the halls, the nerdy kid in Sq who had a crush on Topanga and hadn't been seen since. Cory and Shawn ask him where's been, and he tells them he was in the other half of the school that they don't see on camera.
Then then turn and look in that direction and go "Hey, Mr Turner!"
Boy Meets World also has the daughter that went missing for a season and was then recast. They call her downstairs and she says "Wow, that felt like the world's longest timeout."
