4th LW should be the most interesting. Easy to say that this is one of our best positions that we've never really had a problem with.

At this stage, I'd go Huselius, Tkachuk, Tanguay, though Tkachuk definitely surpasses Huselius real soon.
Huselius > Tanguay for me. He was a better point producer for the flames in his time here. There's a reason Iggy pushed to have Huselius on his line over Tanguay.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Tanguay. Think he's pretty overrated.

I'm a bit of the opposite mind I feel Huselius is a bit over-rated. anyways I think of Tanguay and Huselius to be pretty similar, with Tanguay having a longer tenure
interestingly in Flames Point per Game all time a bunch of the LWs are pretty tightly linked (the guys being discussed here)
20th. Roberts .863
23rd Huselisu .843
25th Tanguay .830
27th Cammy .824
28th Tkachuk .802
(Johnny is 11th everyone else in the top 14 is at least 25 years older than him, Iggy is 15th)

I think for 4th line there are a couple of options.
Tanguay: GP: 342 G: 86 P: 284 PPG:0.83
Cammalleri: GP: 215 G: 89 P: 178 PPG: 0.83
Huselius: GP: 216 G:74 P: 182 PPG:0.84
Glencross: GP: 418 G: 114 P: 242 PPG: 0.58
I probably vote Cammy just because he's my favourite of the bunch, and probably had the highest peak with his 39 goal 82 point season.

I think for the 4th line Colin Patterson would also merit some consideration. But not sure if we are just ranking best, or if we are trying to create different types of roles on the team too.

The voting indicates that we're voting the 4 best LWs, but not necessarily the All-Time Flames TEAM.
If that were the case, I'd probably have gone for grittier guys like Tkachuk, glencross, Gélinas, Patterson, etc.

^^ true enough but folks can have different versions of best too, that extend beyond most talented or most offensively productive
Patterson easily has a case to at least be part of the discussion I think. in terms of tenure he played more games at the position than anyone left (except Glencross?), he was 2nd in Selke trophy voting in 89 while playing on the teams top line
he's in the convo (IMO)

If I'm trying to win a game 7 - I go with Colin Patterson or Martin Gelinas, 100% of the time, over guys like Tanguay and Huselis.
I'm torn on Cammy.

Tkachuk for me although Tanguay was considered. I'm actually surprised of the little support Tangs has considering he has the most points as a Flame of the remaining players and his chemistry with Iginla created some exciting moments.

Cammalleri is the only player to actively outscore Jarome Iginla while Jarome was here when he put up 39 goals to Jarome's 35 in 2008/2009 - Cammy gets my vote with Gelinas coming in 2nd.

Yep. Now I suppose it depends on the makeup of your team cuz if you have all grinders you’d need a scorer vs. say Patterson.
But end of the day, I’d say Gelinas a better overall hockey player than Tanguay (maybe) or Huselius (for sure).
Although as I write this, realizing that Tanguay was pretty money in the playoff for the Avalanche.
