Chicken buddy burger at A&W is my favorite, especially in a pinch. Toasted bread, good patty, and those pickles are like crack.
The value menus are basically all I order from those places at this point. You can get a reasonable sized meal for about $5. That much money at MacD's get's you two junior chickens and a small fry. Perfect!

I don't get all the love or In-and-out... I have only had it once the last time in Vegas but I don't get the hype. I would much rather have a loaded 5 guys. Messy but yummy.
Arby's used to be better, the Chicken Club was excellent when it was the chicken chunks vs the shaved chicken now. I still like a good beef and cheddar with Arbys sauce and a little Horsey sauce. Too bad the guys kids in Chinook didn't want to take over the place to keep it going. It was one of the busiest in Canada for a while there. it was the only one left close.

The thing about A&W is that a lot of people like salt and they cater to the masses that think a lot of salt equates to proper seasoning. I don't love salt so I find their burgers overly salty however the rest of the burger is pretty solid and as salty as the onion rings are I do get them as their fries are terrible. They have somehow created a french fry that's somewhat crispy on the outside and mushy in the inside. It's just not good and Wendy's has never recovered from changing their fries to a similar type as their old fries used to be right up there with the best but their new ones are horrible much like A&W's.

BK vs McDonald's - I eat more McDonald's, because they are much more common. But I always enjoy BK when I have it. The burgers actually taste BBQ'd.
Arby's vs Wendy's - I've never eaten at Arby's. I have no desire to try it. I very much enjoy Wendy's. But f*** Wendy. That fiery red-head broke my heart.
A&W vs DQ - Eat more A&W than DQ, and the burgers are close. I give DQ the edge for having tastey treats. A&W can't even get the stones to put real ice-cream in a float. DQ burgers have a similar BBQ taste that BK does too.
KFC vs Popeyes - Not really a fried chicken fan. I never really liked KFC at all and I've never had Popeyes. So I'll give it to them by default.
Subway vs Tim Hortons - Timmy's food is garbage. The chicken bacon club USED to be good. Now it doesn't even have that honey mustard sauce which is the only reason it was good. I love the smell of Subway. Fight me.
Domino's vs Little Caesars - Both are terrible pizza. LC gets the edge because Crazy Bread is the only good thing to come out of either spot.
Taco Bell vs Chipotle - I feel like this is an unfair comparison. Theyre not really the same thing. Chipotle is objectively better. But there is no Chicken Gordita Crunch. And that thing is delightful. Should be Taco Time v Taco Bell and Mucho Burrito v Chipotle.
In-and-Out vs Five Guys - Five Guys because In-and-Out doesn't even exist here, so...

I took ice cream out of the equation for DQ since the other places don't really focus on that. DQ kind of wears two hats. I find their food pretty average, but none of the other places can stand up to them if we are talking frozen treats.

I don't like the arrogance of A&W about not putting ice in their drinks. The customer is always right!

DQ is often matched with Orange Julius in food courts. So it is just hot dogs and ice cream.

If A&W would make a float with real ice cream they'd take it. They used to do milkshakes too. The chocolate one was great. But even with vanilla shakes on the menu you still got this stupid puck of ice cream in your float.
We should do a poll specifically for breakfast.
McD's vs A&W is a tight fight there.
Timmy's is trash but the biscuit IS a revolution. I wish I could have it with a real egg. C'mon Tim's. It takes 20 seconds to fry an egg. less time than to toast the biscuit. Step your game up.

We tried Chipotle in Seattle. What garbage. I don't get how people eat those big, wet soggy burritos.

I find burritos in general to be overrated.

I had such high hopes for Carl's Jr. when it came to Canada because of all the hype that it came with.
The burgers remind me a lot of Burger King, but they offer more types of pub style appies.
A little over priced though.
I have never tried Jack-in-the-Box. Is it any good?

I don't like beans and rice in my sandwich.
I'll take a good taco over it any day. The only thing a burrito has over it is packaging.

If you really want to up your chicken burger game then you need to try the Crispy Southern Fried Fillet Sandwich at Fatburger. Add bacon and pepperjack cheese.
Life changing.

I'm pretty sure that is an option anywhere you order a burrito. You get to decide what goes inside the tortilla. I made one the other day with some leftover bacon. It was better than I hoped!

And people get so excited over giant burritos. You could have giant tacos too if they were 80% filler.
