Voivod just went and made this song MORE metal by adding a brass section to the remix! It works in a weird way.

Love it. Trumpets, sax, and other similar brass instruments are pretty great in metal.

The new Lamb of God does not disappoint. My only critique after listening to Routes is why the hell have they not collaborated with Chuck sooner?

I had also completely forgotten about Demons & Wizards (Blind Guardian/Iced Earth side project) until finding out they just released a new album. Hansi is still one of the best vocalists in heavy metal

Vintersea has some slick things going on, I encourage a deeper delve into them.

That video was such a tease. I was completely hooked until it transitioned into the black metal sound, unfortunately that style does absolutely nothing for me. She is insanely beautiful though

pretty much my thoughts. YT recommended them to me a while ago (since I'm into a lot of female-fronted bands), but I couldn't really get into it.
