team is not surprisingly pretty meh- even though I think they are one where they are fitting in two, and possibly three, players who would have made their 'top 9' into their checking line

the D is just sad really. I mean none are horrible (well ok I detest a few of them) but are any really any good (meaning great?)

Yeah, Guevremont or Tallon could be there pretty easily.

Andre Boudrias is another.

Kurtenbach is a great choice though...good player no one ever talks about. Captained that club when it must have been a major effort to do so.

Bobby Schmautz is a guy that would have made my team but i understand why he is not there.

No Brodeur or Snepsts is surprising to me.

That D lineup is not great. Pretty much just a list of guys that have played the position for them.

Dennis Kearns, Garth Butcher. Both better than Kevin.

Yeah no Mogilny is the one that stood out to me........I know he wasn't a career Canuck, but he was still there for 5 years, and his first season had 55 goals and 107 points. Maybe it was because the last 3 seasons he was only playing around 50 games or so a season.

Forwards are very strong, but yeah, clear miss not putting Mogilny on there. Still, that first line would be pretty fun.

The defense, on the other hand, suuuuucks... I'm pretty sure if there wasn't a games played limit, Hughes would be that team's #1 defenseman after a 68 game rookie season in which he wasn't even going to win the Calder.

Could Jovanovski beat out anyone on that list?

Alex Burrows making the list says it all.

He should be.

As much as he is loathed among opposition fans, the guy was a terrific hockey player and certainly better that guys like Lumme and Lidster (good players both but...) though he had trouble staying healthy.

This is the strangest list yet IMO.

It's hard to argue against Luongo and McLean though. They're first and second in every major franchise category. McLean is first in games played, Luongo is second. Luongo is first in wins, McLean is second.

If Brodeur was going to make the team, it would be as the Foundational player.

The way they've been doing these lists I'm almost surprised they didn't leave off one of the Sedins in place of somebody like Greg Adams or even Gino Odjick.
