I assumed the Scorch costume was destroyed after the Adirondack incident because I recall there was semi-serious discussion on CalgaryPuck to buy it. If it's not the original, it's a close copy down to the black Flaming A.
I'm guessing they've managed to get the CFS on board, which no doubt took a lot of persuasion. He will be a "rehabilitated" Scorch, and not the homicidal maniac of Glens Falls.

Looks like the original to me — I’d recognize those eyes anywhere. Besides, I don’t think Scorch is something you can just “destroy”... he’s been around since 1864.

They're not equals, they're like two sides of the same coin.
Harvey is the lovable scoundrel who generates enthusiasm for the team and amps up the kids!
Scorch will burn your house down with your family still inside.
He does the things Harvey cant and wont....but perhaps things that still need to be done.
Scorch will engage hellcat and Gritty and take them on toe-to-toe while Harvey sneaks up from behind and brains them with his bone. Because nobody would see that coming.

We may not have the fans in the stands during this playoff run, but they should at least do something special with the mascots. Maybe have them run around the stadium with the team flag. I'd find good entertainment in that.
