I have to think that The Greatest American Hero deserves serious consideration given the fact that NOBODY remembers this show, and yet EVERYONE remembers the song.
I'm partial to the Costanza version.

I had to look it up but I agree, no idea where I heard that song. My mind seems to associate it with a different sitcom. Maybe it was one of those that was always on next then someone remembered to change the channel.
Not the same era but same type of phenomenon with the Andy Griffith whistle.
Edit: not to suggest the Andy Griffith show was not popular, just meant lots of folks will whistle the tune not knowing what it was from. Though, not many whistlers nowadays... Cheers!

I remember (and watched) that show. I liked it... I mean I was 10 but whatever.

happy for the kid, especially reading about his draft story... he looks like a great prospect and i voted for him as the flames best prospect in the Athletic's poll on the flames.
Really like the player, but he needs to put on some muscle.
Let him dominate the Dub again, play a few seasons in the A and come up a beast.
No reason to rush this kid at all.
Why do goalies need to put on muscle? Isn't Matt Murray a bean pole? What about Ben Bishop?
The reason not to rush a goalie is because there are a thousand little things a goalie needs to work on to be successful in the NHL. Weight simply isn't one of them.

Was going to post the "Big Bad Wolf" by Duck Sauce video in response to the Flames moniker but decided it wasn't necessary to scar people for life with everything else going on.

If anything, added weight and muscle is more likely to hinder than help an elite goaltender. The position is about hand/eye coordination, reflexes, muscle-memory and flexibility.

There is a limit though. Putting on some muscle protects your body also. This kid looks a slap shot away from breaking a bone. He does not need to be buff or anything, just needs some more size IMO.
And Matt Murray and Ben Bishop are examples yes, but Carey Price, Holtby, Anderson and Gibson are examples of goalies who are/were elite without being a beanpole.
I think weight factors in giving you the best chance at a long and lenghty career with less injuries. Yes skinnier men can play at the position there is tons of stats to back it up but this is simply my opinion.
