So many jokes to be made.
Is the Oiler mask not good enough to fully protect you but not bad enough to let you get really sick?
Will it let in the very first germ then be decent then let it a few bad germs?
Will it be fall apart then never be rebuilt properly?
Will we see someone through an oiler mask on the ice?

They should do a Mike Smith Oilers mask. It will be full of holes. Guaranteed to let everything in.

I despise that Calgary Flames word logo the NHL has been stamping on their junk for as long as I can remember.

Those are fugly. I'd not want to wear one in public. "I can't find a legitimate mask, and all I have is this ugly POS, so I may as well stay home". That's the social strategy on these.
Wouldn't a small flames logo on the top right corner suffice? Who makes these decisions? Yuck.

*Edmonton Oilers masks will not be available, due to a distinct lack of defence provided by anything with their crest on it*

The team used to use that logo on their helmets, but stopped a few years ago (I want to say 2016). Not sure why they decided to resurrect it here...
Meanwhile, the middle one looks like the backdrop they use for player interviews.
As for number three... well, they probably should have taken a look at the "Wear Red" thread. Half red, half black? No thanks.
Retro red and alternate blasty please. John Bean please read.

Those pictures are Photoshopped prototypes, with the product to be shipped in June. That's still the official wordmark (according to Chris Creamer's Sports Logo site).
I agree through about Ol' Blasty, which would be a natural choice for a garment covering the nose and mouth.

They made Oiler masks? I thought these were supposed to prevent disease.

It would be interesting to have them look like the lower half of a goaltender mask from the 70s-early 80s, especially one of the classics.
If those are the mockups though, they just look awful

Why does the NHL still use our young guns "Flames" word logo from the late 90's/early 2000's?
