While I knew that King Jung-Un was the likely successor to his father, and I believed he would be a hardliner, I didn't see him being such a comic book level supervillian.
We can say a lot about Kim Il-Song and his son Kim Jong-Il, but at the end of the day they were pretty cagey operators on the world stage. They both knew how to play pressure and back off to get things like international aid, they had a key understanding of how to make money for themselves, and how to manipulate the factions in their government.
I don't think Kim Jong-Un was quite as subtle as his father and grandfather. He didn't understand pressure points and when to back off. He also did a purge without thought.
If you ever want to see how someone seizes control of a government and purges his enemies, read up on the Kapsan Faction and Kim Il-Song

Well, we'll know who's ahead in the power game when we start seeing some high profile defectors, or executions using power tools and anti-aircraft cannons.

Its not like anyone ever ignores the appearance of men in politics.
Every article I read on Kim Jung UN mentions that he's a fat, fat, fatty.

If true, can't wait for the latest NoKo funeral sequel and fake mass grieving. I wonder if he'll get the '75 Lincoln treatment like Pa and Grampy? Maybe they'll break tradition and throw him up top a Porsche Taycan or something..seems more fitting for the young punk no?

The approximately 250-meter long train, although partially covered by the station’s roof, can be seen at a railway station reserved for use by the Kim family. It was not present on April 15 but was present on both April 21 and 23.

I don't think Kim needs anyone to lend him weight, he's got that well covered.

I didn't realize that North Korea had resorts so I had to Google them. The beach side ones looks like stepping right out of the 1960s. They are pretty rustic to put it nicely, but they have a really beautiful resort on the NK side of the Chongbai Mountains.
I am starting to lean towards his health and death probably being a hoax, but there is something fishy going on IMO.
