This was an Otto-matic vote for me.

I believe Vernon wore 29 with the Flames in his second stint. But he’ll get the vote next round.

^ That is correct. I always wondered why, given that, when Vernon returned, the Flames had no player wearing #30.

Otto definitely the choice here.

the only reason you pick Hulse is because your a man and you are voting for his wife.. http://roninsfortress.blogspot.com/2...lee-nolin.html

He got greedy and wanted to be the first player to win two numbers when the Internet inevitably did a pandemic ‘best player to wear jersey #’ vote.

Easy decision for me. It was Otto and Fleury that corrected me on my path of favorite hockey team. I grew up in an Oiler household but I came out of it unscathed. The same can't be said about my siblings though

Otto out on the ice almost every shift for faceoffs during the 89 playoffs - that's how crucial he was as a member of the Flames. One of the few right shot centerman, too!

quite a luxury Crispy had back then (esp with the old line change rules). any key defensive zone draw, just throw out Otto, Gilmour and Patterson. two centermen, no worries
