Yeah I'm going to go ahead and reject this premise. Wrestling has been totally irrelevant now for what, a decade? Back during the Monday night wars wrestling would get a combined 10 in the ratings pretty consistently, even a 9 if you want to take into effect duplication. That meant a lot of jobs for non talent too. WWE being a boring and ####ty monopoly has killed the industry and jobs with it. I imagine a large chunk of WWE subs exist so people can watch good wrestling from the lates 90s and earlier

Considering the growth of WWE's bank account and stuff like NJPW and a billionaire investing in AEW to make money, I don't know if I'd call it irrelevant.

How big do you think that AEW is? And the other promotions, AEW has 2 hours of weekly television, they're not going to bloat their rosters. TNA has been sitting on the edge of death for a while. I guess there are the indies where wrestlers still get paid like very little and get a free hotdog.
Frankly as underwhelming as WWE is, they still have massive cash reserves, and staying power that other organizations don't rally have like AEW.

It's such a hilariously bad take. As much as I dislike WWE and prefer AEW and NJPW to the current WWE product, WWE's mere existence benefits every other promotion.

This has nothing to do with the point I'm trying to make.
Instead of saying you wish Vince would get his head of his ass and listen to the fans and let talent have more say in their characters you wish it would just die and that people losing their jobs is no big deal because they could just go to other promotions.
The top talent, top broadcasters, top refs, top people in the back could go to other promotions on TV but everyone else is SOL especially the people who we have no clue work for the WWE and play a part in making the sure the shows happen. Sure another promotion could start and get a TV deal but that still doesn't mean it has enough spots for these people.

Classic White Out. Produce a completely stupid take, and then double-down furiously on it.

Sometimes you have to burn the industry to the ground to build something back up that's worthwhile.

Not a fan of putting Charlotte over Rhea and giving her the NXT belt. In the last two nights, they've made the top woman from NXT look silly.
Charlotte doesn't need the belt, and I'm sure that the die hard NXT fans are going to poop all over this. It was a good match, but Charlotte just isn't one of my favorites. Good to see Black go over Lashley in a pretty physical match.

HAHAHAHA I'm a sick person, That Otis Dolph matchup was really entertaining, and featured two of the meanest ball shots I'm ever seen.
Otis gets the win, Otis gets the girl.

I prefer WWE personally, but I want AEW, NJPW and other organizations to have as much success as possible.

I want AEW and NJ to do really well, frankly except for major ppv's my wrestling viewing has been limited to NXT. I've watched some AEW and its ok, but its not really floating my boat mainly because it has too much smooze booking to it.
But competition fuels everything, and we really need another Monday Night Wars.

I don't usually like last man standing matches, but that was really good.

The Commentators literally killed this match, they sounded bored throughout. I'm not a fan of last men standing matches because the 10 count slows the pacing. I'd have rather seen a falls count anywhere match where you can get pin attempts out of nowhere.
Some really nice pieces of offense, and it was a really physical match. But the commentating team sounded like they were calling the masters.

I can't help but wonder if this outcome would have been different if Andrade hadn't been injured.
Also, as soon as Zelina got involved in the post-match beat down, I knew it was to give Bianca a cameo.
