on top of it, if I'm telling the talent how to promo, tell them not to play to a crowd that isn't there, tell them to play to the camera for the fans at home.

Oh and at least Saxton knows how to sell a stunner.

But just stupid.

She was the best part of the show. period.

I'm kind of bored of Becky now, all they're doing now is copying everything that Stone Cold did to get over and she's gotten boring.

I thought they would do way better with the empty arena, but having wrestlers come out and play to an audience that isn't there is just a bizarre choice

I will say that was the worst Stone Cold promo in his history.

I haven't watched yet, but Becky has bored me for some time. She's far more entertaining as a punny dork IMO.

Asuka was one of the best things about Elimination Chamber too, her waiting to get out against Shayna was pure gold. She has more charisma that the rest of the women's division combined IMO.

Another highlight was Karl Anderson calling Taker "Mr. Deadman" before getting his ass kicked. I loved that.

Ummmmm, are we forgetting the return of Fake Undertaker?!?!?!?!?

They said it was the real Undertaker, but it had to have been the fake one, no other explanation for Undertaker's ability to get to the ring in less than 30 seconds.

LOL, yeah I was amazed that it didn't take an hour for him to get on stage.

He really needs to be done. He looked like an addled old man with a bad haircut.

Overall, not excited about Wrestlemania at all.

There's a rumor going around that Wrestlemania was moved to the PC for insurance purposes and that Orlando will then shut it down from being held and it'll be held at MSG on June 7th.

So for those that don't have the network, here's the transcript of the Broken Skull sessions with Bret. Some really interesting stuff on the screw job and the fight with Vince, Breaking down the Austin vs Hart Wrestlemania match. WCW, his best promo, how he designs a match. Goldberg and more.

Why is WWE still trying to produce shows in empty arenas? Give the wrestlers a break and shut it down! Man I hate McMahon....hope his financial losses are staggering.

The same reason they performed after 9/11. Same reason they perform in dangerous places like Iraq or Afghanistan. The same reason they went to air after Owen died. After the Benoit tragedy. The performers want to entertain. The company it self wants to give people something to take their mind off the current situation and the performers want to help with that.

You can hate Vince McMahon for many things. The guy is a carny #### head at times. But this is not one of them.

AEW is still doing shows too so not like it's just the WWE.

For the WWE these guys are all in the Orlando area anyways, they are not working live shows right now so they are off the rest of the time, and I'm not sure how it works with them from a wage perspective but since they are technically "independent contractors" they probably don't mind still getting paid too.

They've mostly been "highlight" shows with just a couple of people actually in action anyways. I actually think the WWE has handled it okay for the most part. They've kind of poked fun at the whole empty arena stuff a little bit, haven't taken anything too seriously, and something to help people take their mind of everything for a couple hours a week.

Aew crowdless show being done much better than wwe so far

Some of it is the venue for sure, but the crowd angles help a ton, and most importantly they have talent in the crowd making noise

My problem with either company doing shows still is it isn’t smart. It’s not social distancing.

Yeah. Having at least a little fan noise is huge.

Although WWE was way more conservative in the amount of talent needed to be active and in the building for their show. So I give them credit for that.

AEW seemed to have more people working, which is riskier do course.

Hey Capt, thanks for bringing attention to that smoking skull sessions with Bret Hart as the guest. I finally got around to watching it based on your suggestion.

While I knew Austin appreciated Hart putting him over, I never knew how far that respect went and the amount of credit Austin had for Hart for the birth of SCSA

And holy crap...that burial of Goldberg. I had this playing while I was washing dishes and when Bret said “Goldberg to me was one of the most unprofessional wrestlers there ever was in the business. For Bill Goldberg to be in the Hall of Fame... he hurt everybody he worked with”, My jaw just dropped in shock from what he said. I couldn’t believe that actually made it past the editing and aired, especially with Goldberg being an active wrestler and headlining WM as universal champ.

I also liked how Austin and Hart watched their match in detail and explained everything through. I always figure his interviews were just based on the guest’s careers but getting to see some insight from the wrestlers’ POV was interesting

Hopefully they’ll have Bret on the show again

You know without a live audience, AEW has a real opportunity to make great Broken Matt content, especially at the Hardy compound. Wrestling fans are lapping that up, and this is the perfect time to film and show segments that really highlight his character and the Elite/Inner Circle feud.

Also, did anyone catch that Archer/Jake segment this week where Archer beats up 50 guys in the ring with Jake watching? Great segment, makes Archer look like an unstoppable monster.

Those were deleted scenes from The Peanut Butter Falcon, right?
