Exactly, I got it (from standing in line to get the vaccination). I was 24, in good health, and I firmly remember thinking, wow, this is the first time I'm actually sick. This wasn't a "stay at home, take it easy and watch a movie" illness, this was an "I can't physically move off this couch and my life is hell" illness. No way I was expecting to be that sick.

I'm actually kind of relieved we're not making the playoffs this season.

It would be the most Coyotes thing of all time to play the first playoff games since 2012 at home and fans can't even attend. lmao

rumblings of Coyotes needing to possibly do what the sharks are doing.

Arizona will probably be fine

The recommendation is 6ft apart at all times and I think they accomplish that nightly

@JacketsInsider

#CBJ director of communications Todd Sharrock says there will be a way for ticket holders who choose not to come to games because of virus fears to get refunds or exchanges. Team is in the process of reaching out to season ticket holders.

I was the same age, 23/24 ish and I think it was back in spring of 2005 when I got destroyed for 3 weeks with some sort of flu. I was bedridden for a week, couchridden for another and up but still pretty much useless by the 3rd week. I've never felt so weak, achy, dehydrated. Zero appetite. I lost at least 15 lbs and almost a month of university. It was a fluke that I got average grades that semester. All I can remember is thinking this must be how it feels to be in your 90s and dying. I never ever want to feel like that again.

What are chances the Salary Cap will decrease next season? If no fans are allowed to buy tickets for playoff games that will be a use decrease in revenue. Maybe they will just keep the cap flat and increase the salary clawback.

DC government recommending cancellation of mass gatherings: https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/l...ponse/2237461/

I wonder when the Caps pull their games...

This is cascading. I expect we will be watching games with empty stands soon.

This COVID-19 is completely unpredictable - no one knows where things will be in another week or two - but if cities start cancelling large get togethers - will the NHL get to a point where it considers cancelling the season?

Coronavirus officially confirmed as pandemic by World Health Organization, five minutes ago.

It's completely predictable the more people interact the more it spreads.

Well I remember being amazed when they wiped out the season due to CBA issues. If they can nuke a season for that, surely this situation could potentially cause a cancellation.

I imagine it has already been discussed at great length.

I would think empty stadiums rather than full cancellation, but who knows. But the revenue hits are going to be insane, especially for the teams that make it deep into the playoffs.

Just guessing but I think by the end of the month we could see a decision made to postpone the season until the end of April. At that time we could see the cancellation of the season entirely.

I thought it was only for gatherings over 1000 people. Coyotes should be safe.

NHL and NBA playoffs hang by a thread, I think the MLB regular season does as well. We could be faced with a widespread cancellation of pro sports in 2020.

I wonder how much the league will have to payback or forego in revenue from the TV contract if they do not go forward with any games.

Could you do a lottery for 900 season ticket holders and have them in the lower bowl, with arranged seating so theres a limit per row/section?

It beats empty. It would be an intimate setting for the games.

I imagine there is a force majeure clause in those tv deals.
