I thought she was too mono tone in her PBP with no excitement in her voice. That and too may lapses in the PBP where she had to think about she was going to say.

Backlund is three points back of supplanting Monahan as the Flames' highest-scoring centre this year.

Monahan needs a new team, his numbers will get a good return but the reality is he stinks for 50 games every year

Every NHL coach in history puts out their top offensive players when they need a goal...even if the 4th liner banged one in earlier

Score somewhat flattered the Flames. They got badly outshot and outplayed by a team that’s supposedly bad on the road.

I don’t blame Ritter for the loss, but I’d like to see Talbot get the net for a while.

Hey I'm not saying she's amazing but she'd pretty quickly be one of the best at Sportsnet.

Granted that's an extremely low bar

Brodie (?) was already in the passing lane from what I remember.

Whatever. Still a frustrating way to lose.

No. Rittich should be f*&&^^%$g standing up not on his godd%$ m knees. Players have to try and block shots and deflect them away all the time.

I like both of those guys but, no, you stick with guys who regularly pot goals in that situation. Lots of times a regular goal scorer will not have a good game but will pot one like that. Heck, both Lindholm and Monahan have done it.

Imagine the howls here if Ward throws those two guys out instead of guys who are over 20 goals presently.

Lucky damn goal with a minute left. Sucks for sure but they fought back from 3-0. This isn’t a team of quitters. Unlucky.

Forbort had his worst game, Brodie was bad, Monahan was complete trash (like most games) and only Dubé and Lucic showed anything positive on a consistent basis.

Hard to win when your 1C and 1RW aren’t playing

Strange... I can't wait for the next game. This end of season stretch has been very exciting. I have been thoroughly entertained this year.

Not to mention both Monahan and Lindholm are centres if there’s a faceoff. Dube is a centre but not presently.

Okay, fair enough. Given more games I would like to see how she does. She did work well with Cassie.

Didn't like Monahan's game either but Lindholm couldn't handle the puck at all it seemed. Especially in the 3rd.
