After a game like that, it would be nice to get some Canuck fan comments in the ATL also...

We should of lost this game.

We had no business winning this game.

I loved the final minutes of this game.

We did not deserve to win.

I still loved it!

Well, I certainly don't think Columbus deserved to win it either.

Out chanced them, out hit them, out shot them,

I suppose the Flames were fortunate because they were down late but they made it all happen

Mangiapane is basically what I always hoped Curtis Glencross would become.

Glencross did have 48 points in 67 games one year...Mangi isn't even at that level yet

Only difference? Glennie did that when he was 29. Mangiapane is 23.

Make no mistake, I loved Curtis Glencross, but Mangiapane is already super close to his level of impact at his peak. He's speedy, has a good shot, and plays with a ton of fire.

They're absolutely cut from the same cloth IMO.

In the third period, right after that shift in our zone that resembled the Keystone Cops, I wasn't sure what to think. But they started to move their feet and pressuring, and a miracle happened!! Great effort for 15 minutes. And a big 2 points. Yahoo!

Glencross was 26 when he finally became a full time NHLer.

He had 6 goals and 6 assists that year, in 36 games with Columbus.

I can only access CP via LTE.

I love it when Johnny jumps for joy. He did a hop after Brodie scored.

Brodie's 6th OT winner apparently.

Trying to recall them all:
Tonight vs CBJ,
In Philly on the 2 on 1 with Tkachuk,
In NJ off the amazing cycle play with Backs and Frolik,
At home vs NYR starting with the amazing give and go flip lead pass,
At home vs BOS? Weird backhander that bounces in within the final seconds I think?,
In CHI with a shot off the crossbar from the point?

That might have been the most fun regular season game of the last decade.

Had company so really only saw the 3rd....looked typically CBJ frustrating. It's interesting to me how certain teams are able to accomplish that level of frustration and simply impose it onto another team. Figured it might be done at 1 goal for us.

Very enjoyable ending but sheesh...they really have to figure out how to play right from the get-go and how NOT to do those terrible 50' cross-ice passes that either get intercepted easily or bounce off someone giving away a ....two on zero? C'mon guys, you need to be better than that. All the time.

Oh well, take the two an move on. Smiling this time. ATL ought to be interesting.

Got to give Columbus credit. Very structured and hard working bunch. Speak volumes to the coach and players completely buying into the never give up, never surrender.

Huge 2 points to keep pace in the division and put some pressure on a couple chasing pacific teams.
