Really? I think that trade will continue to look good. If (although it may be when) the Canucks miss the playoffs this year they will likely draft in the 10-14 range and those picks are usually a 50-50 chance of turning into a really good player. And Miller has been a point per game player for the Canucks the entire season and has another 3 years on at a good salary.
Plus the Lightning traded that first round pick (plus a good prospect) for Coleman... so in the long run the Canucks did very well.
Benning is good with drafting (some misses but lots of good players), good with trades (same thing), scary awful at free agents though.
