Telus gets into porn biz

I think the guy watching porn on the bus is probably the creepy one you aren't going to voluntarily sit beside anyways. Most people are going to view it in privacy. Besides, I downloaded it, and it's cheezy. It's not tow people screwing type porn, it's striptease type porn. Lame.

Did anyone catch Global news this morning? They were filming a lady complaining about the Telus Pr0n. They also filmed her calling the company to cancel or something. I didn't see the whole thing so I shouldn't speculate. Anyone see it?

Hope she called her television and internet providers to cancel too. I hear you can get pictures of naked ladies on the internets now...

Why would this drastically increase public porn watching? You can buy porn magazines and I've never seens someone looking at one in public. You can get porn an a PSP, portable dvd player and some MP3 players. Sure a cell is more discreet but I don't think out society has made this kind of leap yet.

The CSR did a poor job but was trying to get that across to her- that every TV provider has p0rn available. I would also guess that the printer who prints her Home & Garden magazine also prints the Playboy runs for Alberta as well. Canada Post will deliver p0rn to you...... the list goes on.

The wife and I pulled up beside a van on 16th avenue about 15 months ago. I don't think it was pr0n in the true sense of the word but they had a movie playing with some nakedness/sex scene going on. The cars on either side of the van didn't move an inch when the light turned green...

This is just another example of how our society will implode in a few yars.

The crawling steps are behind us, the baby steps are now appearing.

The issue should be that Telus mobility had enough gumption to resist this for so long, other companies (CanadaPOST, Shaw, Bell, Rogers) obviously havent - the company should be commended for that.

Bravo Telus, i would switch all my services to you (TV - Internet) if only you didnt require me to have a home phone installed.

I thought that the CRTC mandated that they offer naked DSL now. (Sorry, that's just what it is called.)

I called yesterday after shaw gave me a bill for 1337.62 last month, and when I called they said I used that many services. I asked how since no PPV or Porn or VOD or whatever else they charge was ordered.

It took 3 of their "fantasic CSR" then a manager the second time I called to figure out that I wasnt lying. I hung up the phone the first time after the second CSR flat out refused and called Telus to get the switch started. The CSR there said I must have a home phone installed.

I then called shaw back and had it resolved, as soon as Telus offers "naked" dsl I am there for TV and Internet - shaw and all their charging for HD when I bought a $800 HD reciever has seen the end of my patience as soon as a resonably priced competitor arrives.

If I wasn't so lazy and thought that the Shaw CSR would actually be able to do something to help I would call and complain. Instead, I just refuse to watch the channels I've paid for and get grumpy about it.
