Both are probably a coincidence.
JG’s been dragging down his line most of this season. It’s been hard for anyone to play well with Gaudreau 5 on 5 this year.

I remember when we played Washington and she was calling the game, my sister who is a Caps fan called me on the phone and said she muted the game because the woman who was on our broadcasts voice was intolerable. I agree. It is not just the dumb things she says, her voice really is like nails on a chalkboard.

Thought is was a pretty decent road period against one of the best teams in the league.

I don’t think I saw it that way. I saw the Flames struggle to get through the neutral zone, and Tampa with lots of offensive zone time.

Not a horrid period, but the Flames just need to bring it up a few levels.

One thing they need to do more of is carry the puck out of their own zone, tampa’s forecheck and nz is too clogged to get passes through. Defensemen need to step up and do some work themseves.

No, it wasn't. Tampa was clinical in shutting down every possible scoring chance, including tying up Backlund's stick on his faux-goal.

If we play two more of that period we'll lose 3-0 or worse.

That is one adjustment they need to make because TB is just sitting back in a trap. Once they got in the zone they were buzzing.

Nobody cares what you have to say about Gaudreau. Keep it to yourself.

I dont know, seems fitting that Toffoli should be talked about. Seems like hes moving the needle.for the Canucks. Much to the lament of myself and some other Flames fans. That was a reasonable price IMO.

We are lucky to have Gaudreau on this team, is it an off year? sure, but go look at any of the Flames all time greats, they all have had a down year or two. He his an awesome player, I’m so glad Tre is the GM! And not many of the posters on this forum.

That one shift by the Ryan line - there could have been 3 penalties called on the Bolts. I guess it will be one of those games. Just enjoy the try from the Flames. Eventually the opposition will do something egregious enough to get called. If not today, then tomorrow or next week sometime.

Just call it fair. That is all I have ever asked. Go Flames.

Monahan's line has had troubles getting out of their own zone. As it has been lately for them. Something needs to change, they turn the puck over too many times.

It's gotta be disappointing for the forwards to win the puck back to the point only to see our d miss the net, or just shoot into shin guards.

I’m streaming the US feed again. Cassie makes me miss Pierre and his boner for Phaneuf.
