Yeah, that hurts. Rittich lets one squeak through, but the boys get it back for him late. Then they blow it with the empty net.

Still four points up for grabs on this road trip, can't dwell on this loss too long. Lots of positives.

Good game, could have gone either way.

Lucky for Granlund to get control of the puck off the bounce, tough to read

Opponents seem to notice the Flames are vulnerable to the quick pass from behind the net out front, cost them twice

Some people here need to grow up

For how well the Flames played, I'm way more annoyed than I probably should be.

The 2nd and 3rd goals are all on Rittich. It makes me feel bad

This result hurts the Canucks and Oilers. Good enough for me.

This is a game where both teams battled hard and you just have to move on.

Yet, you think about how many no shows these guys have laid this season, not showing up to some of the worst teams in the league (Ottawa, Montreal, LA,etc). There is no benefit of the doubt for this year's team. Their perilous situation is squarely on them, so they better have an answer in these last 18 or whatever games.

I mean, I understand the emotions are high, but the flames did basically this exact thing in the game tkachuk won with the between the legs goal.

Hockey is luck based. Flames were unlucky tonight, not bad. You can help effort a lot more than you can help luck, as a fan I'm fine with a good game that ends up unlucky.

What do you mean? The game was tied, so if they challenge and lose they give the Preds a 4-3 OT PP.
If they didn't think they were likely to win that challenge, it is a stupid risk to take.

Not sure why you need to have such a pissy tone. You could have made your point without "genius" tacked on to the end.

Garbage game by Rittich and the coach.
How can you not play Backs in OT?
The Monny line with the new guys struggled all game - yet he kept putting them out together.
He has no idea what he is doing I have concluded - he only makes changes when it doesn’t make sense and does not ever know how to play the hot hand. For F’s sake, any idiot would have known to start OT with Backs and to never have Brodie out there in OT and in the final seconds of a game. He needs to use Andersson more.

I am so bloody mad at Treliving and why he is so goddamn attached to this ahl calibre coach - is it loyalty? I would argue in a lot of our wins - we are winning despite this garbage coach and not because of him.

Its shocking how much better the 3m line is than the Monahan line. Gaudreau looked not too bad tonight but the rest of the line was terrible.

Blaming rittich is a reach. One terrible goal but blame on 3 and 4 is on others. Two guys wide open in the slot and blue paint at those points in the game is unacceptable defending.

Especially granlund on 3. Should have been tackled... hes standing in the blue paint with no one touching him in the final seconds of the game.

Darryl Sutter and Reggie probably both broke something watching that tying goal.

I'm just going to stop here and give the Predators credit. That was an incredible comeback by them. Lots of heart on that team. Flames gave it everything they had as well. This game was a joy to watch despite the outcome.

#### happens. Take the point in a tough building and move on. Keep up the effort and intensity, and I guarantee you'll win a lot more than you'll lose.

You could measure the amount of time it took Rittich to get back into position with a sundial.
I didn't see any push by backlund maybe in slow motion you could measure it but rittich definitely didn't have time to slide over and get back into position

I'm at a loss to why he just skated by Granlund. Where was he going? Such a bizarre play by him.

Edit: I just saw the replay and he took the other shooter on the far side of Granlund. That explains why he went by Granlund but it sucks he took the guy that had a worse angle to the net.
