Glad the multiple games in hand are finally no longer a factor.

In striking distance without a GP advantage baby. Let's keep rolling through this trip!

Anybody's ballgame at this point but I like the Flames' chances to catch Edmonton.
Flames are playing best hockey in over a season and have been on the up and up for about a month. I'm increasingly a big believer in this flames squad

Funny this is their dream season and the Flames have struggled big time

When did Friedman become such an Oilers shill?

They are currently 15th out of 31 overall. No wonder they think they are having a dream season.

14/31 is all they need to have their 3rd best season in the last 30 years.

The Kings hang on and win. Peterson should be the first star.

I don't mind the guy too much, but he came down a peg after he carried the flag for video review of offside, something that effected a low percentage of games over the last decade. Then when the rule came in he jumped all over it, saying the NHL had to do something about the time delay. Frustrating as a fan when it wasn't a top 5 issue, then a media member makes it one, only to ghost when the going got tough for a season, before they changed the review rule.

I think they might actually be. When he's playing they all wait for him to do something. They rely on him to win. It's hilarious.

They're giving up games in hand to just about everyone. That's their only issue. Huge win against a team that's trying to catch them though.

2 at 3 in reg time

The Avs specialty teams were the big factor. They were 2 for 3 on the PP and the passing of the puck is fast and smooth. Their PK was 2/2. Both goalies made some great saves, the shots were 34-33 for the Avs. The win puts the Avs 3 points back of the 1st place Blues in the western conf. The Sabres stay 6 back of the Leafs for the last playoff spot.

The Penguins have now lost 4 straight games. Solid goaltending by Petersen, he made 35 saves. The Kings PK was 3/3 which helped lead them to the upset. Lizotte had 1g and 1a.

Lol. The Oilers were SHUTOUT by Fleury who 29 saves. It's his 61st career shutout and that ties him with Turk Broda for 17th place on the all time shutout list. Martinez had 2 assists with his new team. The Knights are 6 points ahead of the Flames.

Trade draft picks to make a run in the playoffs. Forgets to make the playoffs.

It also comes down to the Coyotes, they are tied with the Jets.

LOL. That's a good thing. In the Sabres-Avs game, there were no Sabres picked for a star even though it was a close game.

It's not just him it's RSN. He has to tow the company line and McDavid is good for business. Deep down all these guys want to see McDavid in the playoffs because it's better for them and the broadcaster. A lot of viewers out east tune out of the playoffs (they don't care about the Flames or Canucks) when there is no Leafs/Habs representation but they will tune in to see McDavid. RSN badly needs the Oilers to make the playoffs.
