Milano 2 goals, including winner, third star. New Oilers one goal one assist, first two stars.

Lol @ Oilers.

Can't believe they still got a point out of that. So ridiculously undeserved.

I know the 3 stars is a subjective picking, but I would love to see their ratio of stars in their losses compared to other teams (in their own respective losses)

I’m sure there would be quite the disparity

AA 1 goal and 1 assist. Sounds about right. Did not watch a minute of the game to see how he looked otherwise but I'm still bitter he is on the Oil and not the Flames.

His goal could have been scored by anyone. Literally pushed a puck in that was sitting behind the goalie.

Ennis was far better.

Nothing to play a hard 60 for, paired with the obligatory Oilers PPs.

I do appreciate them doing enough to put 4 past Smith for the W, which only required 20 shots.

Interesting, I still think the trade will pay off big time for them. More so than Ennis. I see Mcdoofus is paired with both new comers.

Of course they put them both up there. It’s totally on brand. AA was invisible the whole game even playing with McDavid. Of course, they triple shift McDavid so he plays with everyone anyway.

I think the trade will pay off the same way as all their other ones. The new guy might get points off of McDavid. But in the end the same number of goals will be scored by the team as before.

Haha Oilers.

Oh man the Yotes are screwed. They need to go to 10-6 just to hit 90 points. Good thing they lottery protected their first.

I can see why Crysaitl has such bad plus mjnus despite having 100 points. The guy is so bad in his own zone. He just coasts and doesn't even check anyone hard. Guy is the ultimate floater.

Disagree, I think AA has top 6 ability (skill and speed) and will provide them the legit winger they've been looking for to flank McDavid. I've been big on him for the last couple years but I get the narrative of the board when it comes to the Oilers.

The Oilers are such an embarrassment. The whining about the call was off the charts.

They get gifted calls every game it seems.

Final scores

The good: Coyotes and Blackhawks lost in reg time
The bad: Jets and Oilers each get a point
The ugly: Canucks, Predators, Wild, and Leafs all won

I was interested in him as well - he checked a box (speed). However, any points he gets have McDavid inflation on them (see Maroon, Chiasson, Neal, Kassian...). AA has speed for sure. He is also apparently a horrible defensive player, and that's also on brand for the Oilers.

He's a RFA with arbitration rights. They will overpay. he will settle into a mediocre player. There's a reason Detroit marketed him over the many other RFAs they have to sign.

I happen to think he won't mesh that well with McDavid. He likes to race down the wing with the puck - that's McDavid's job. He has tunnel vision and doesn't seem to use linemates much. McDavid needs a guy who can din open ice, settle into a spot and finish what McDavid starts. Ennis has a much better chance of sticking on a line with McDavid IMO.

My overall point, however, is that there's only one puck and, if AA gets 20 on a line with McDavid, how's that different than Chiasson getting 20 on a line with McDavid in 2018-19? Or Kassian having 15 this year?
