Solid deadline moves. If we do not move a dman out we will have 9 or 10 NHL dmen by the end of the year. We can only play 6 each night, but this rounds out the black aces quite nicely.

This has taken a long time. I wonder if its more than the 3rd going back to Chicago...or if it doesn't happen...this deal does almost seem too good for a Flames trade.

My guess is that the Gustafsson moves kyboshes the Barrie move. Barrie has exposed himself as being awful and might be injured. I really don't see the Flames adding both Gustafsson and Barrie. Gustafsson does the same thing for cheaper.
