I guess the Oilers plan on outscoring their problems. They have brought in two awful defensive players from Detroit, looks like they're going to try to win games 6-5 from here on out.

Case in point why standing pat is the worst option for this team.
Playoff teams around us are loading up.
IMO, it's buy or sell (within reason). Recoup some picks for guys that will walk...because holding tight and hoping we can squeak in is a fool's errand.

Interesting to hear Upshall say McDavid texted him earlier asking if the Oilers were going to get him a winger to play with today. If you're one of those wingers on the Oilers playing with McDavid that has to make you feel great hearing your captain asking that question.
