So we're in a playoff spot heading into the trade deadline so that means spend all our draft picks through 2022 on rentals this year right

To me this win really took the sting out of hearing the news that the flames would not be getting Kovalchuk

Good to see the Flames win this one. I must say, being I chose to watch the Detroit feed, I truly like the Wings broadcast team. Not only was it great to listen to, although I still think Ball is better so I missed his play calling; But they were very well informed about the Flames and not homers. Whenever Hrudey isnt available, I always try and watch the other teams feed, didn’t regret it at all.

Plus their post game and mid analysis is wonderful. No home town hockey is a bonus.

I still don’t want the flames to do anything other than a hockey deal though. No draft picks unless it’s later rounds. They are still a bubble team in my opinion.

If I didn’t have such a healthy respect for science, I would swear that Brodie’s medical incident was just whatever demon was making him suck that last two years finally leaving his body.

Not a great game by the Flames. Brutal missed call on the high stick on Rittich but the Flames should have had the game well in hand by then.

But I’ll take the win. Now go win in Boston!

honestly I'm kind of glad the Flames/Refs didn't humiliate the down on their luck red wings.

Got the W. On to the next one. Hopefully we don't do anything idiotic tomorrow, this is still a bottom third team.
