She's also weak. An easy target because she isn't going to win immunity. I don't think people are that concerned. Wasn't game changers similar?

She's not going to be a three-peat winner, But she's still The Queen in my book.

I figured that Rob/Amber would be targets #1 and #2. I mean that's an alliance that's unbreakable plus with Edge in play you know that if you only get one out all that means is that you have a fierce advocate for the other in the jury pool.

I'm rooting for Ethan but I have a hard time believing that anyone would let a charming guy (that's beaten Cancer (twice) and raised (I think) something like $30M for HIV education in Africa) into the final tribal. I mean who would have a big problem giving the $$ to Ethan? Nobody.

LoL... this is so classic! This is how she wins! "I'm not a threat.. but do you know who is?" whisper whisper whisper to five different people then sit back, let them eat each other and at the end stand up and point at every big vote and claim them as your own.

She needs to go, if you want to win, you can't sit next to Sandra at the end.

I think the second tribal council in episode 1 was the first time Denise had ever not gone to a tribal council while she was on the show.

Not in the pool but I loved the first episode. I remembered Yul being really awesome in his season but damn, this guy just has such an amazing read on people. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he goes far again. It was funny to see Boston Rob bamboozle Ben like that. Agreed on the above points about Sandra. She sits back and lets people eat each other alive. How is she not targetting as the first out? Why on earth did Natalie give her the fire token and not Jeremy, her supposed "ride or die".

She could only give it to a member of the losing team who had to go to tribal

The reason for keeping both Sandra (and Boston Rob, and others like Parvati) is that you need to build your resume before the final tribal in order to win. This season even more than others. So you want to be able to point to yourself as having a huge hand in taking out those big players. The earlier they get taken out, the more muted that achievement becomes, and the more people you need to split credit with.

And for players in the next tier of 'Survivor legend', you don't want to take Rob or Sandra out early, or suddenly you're at the top and all the attention turns on you. Better to leave that as late as possible, if you want to win.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer and all that. At least until you get the lion's share of the credit for taking out your enemy.

Its funny because the more I think about it, I would have liked to have had this game played by the old rules, no edge of extinction, no hidden immunity Idols. Any mistake you make can be fatal.

The old school players are very much playing a strategy of observe and destroy. The newer players are playing a hell bent for leather destroy then observe game.

Its pretty clear that Sandra is a lynch pin in this game (Legion of Boop), I get what you're saying, but you absolutely want her out and on edge of extinction before she can do too much damage.

Rob is already showing that he gets this game as does Pavarti. (Legion of Boop).

Yah but it was pretty clear in her third game she was figured out.

That was a very frustrating tribal to watch. They are just letting Parv and Rob run the show. It was almost embarrassing to watch when he told them all to empty their bags to see if they had an idol and they all stood up and did what he said. Like a bunch of sheep. Like, just vote him or Parv out already. I hope one is gone next week just to mix it up because it's tough watching a bunch of past winners just follow along, being too scared to do anything.

I honestly thought Rob was done after the immunity challenge fall apart. But we've seen the strength of Rob's game. He's smarter then he looks, understands people, and he's thinking two moves ahead in terms of his strategy. Pavarti is very much the same way. Rob did an amazing job of playing Tribal tonight, partially because he makes everyone think that his ideas benefit them when it doesn't.

By the way, that stare of death from him at Sandra was awesome, and she even looked a little nervous.

Some of these winners are being badly exposed as players that maybe caught a bolt of lightning or got lucky in their games.

Danni was totally outmatched, but wtf were they thinking? Get rid of Ben, or Parvati, or Rob. Danni? Come on. Weak sauce.

They all see the same thing.

Don’t get voted out then orchestrate the vote to take out the big player later in the game.

No one cares if you take rob out pre merge.

If they keep letting him do what he wants they may not make it to the merge.

There's a lot of 'weaker' players, take out the obvious strong ones early and dictate the game. If you take out Rob now you can still bring up that point in final tribal, nobody will forget about it.

Interesting, to be sure. And nice palm job by Denise there.

I have to wonder about 'taking out' someone now. It's not like they are fully out. The Exiles can get up to 2 chances to come back. Taking someone like Sandra or Rob out now may damage their game...but may not, if they get back in.

This is where Exile comes into play. You MAY remove someone from the game, for a time, at this time. Maybe it's not a bad plan to keep someone around and off Exile Island a bit longer.

Danni was out of her league. Ben talked way too much at tribal, you could see Denise and Adam cringing when he talked about helping people with idols.

I get nervous for Parvati and Rob every time they go to tribal, I'm glad they made it through this one but I think their luck is going to run out soon.

Tony is one of the funniest guys to ever play this game, it's never boring with him. So glad that him and Tyson are on the same tribe.

It's early but liking Yul and Sophie's games so far.

Tony is such a beauty, "No guys I designed it this way" hah.

I thought that was such a boring move by the 'new' players. The older players were like well its better her than any of us, so lets just pile on. And her bringing Parvati up to Rob was the nail in the coffin.

Danni is the Kim of that tribe, just completely shell shocked as her season was so easy due to a lack of stronger players. It's literally like watching a fish out of water.
