Is there something off with the ice? Or is it just the fact that this is a matinee game?

The Ducks are handling the puck just fine.

I don’t understand how some people can look at this team and not think that a rebuild is nevessary...

The Flames are still very much in this game, but I think a loss is one step closer to a very interesting offseason. A loss means we’re even nearer to selling at the deadline and seeing the core broken up at the draft.

Sam Bennett looks different these days. In a good way . I’m thinking he just might have flipped the switch! Keep his line together!

Good. Team can go to a nap in the intermission. Probably they can book a table for dinner as well.

Period 1 was good.
Period 2 was sloppy AF across the board.

Generally the Flames were better. Bad play by Bennett = goal. Absolute whiff by Hanifin = goal.

Bennett made at least two boneheaded plays in that period, one of which wound up in the net.

The Flames are showing their true identity this afternoon. This game really captures what this team is all about. That being said, it is a close game between two evenly matched teams

If this game is any indication, playoff hockey won’t include any Flames games. However, the Flames have the excuse they are missing 2 top 4 defensemen and a 3rd line centre.

20 shots on goal in the second but none were dangerous at all.

No real scoring chances other than JG off the crossbar.

Jesus we need a win so bad.
