The Flames are still very much in this game, but I think a loss is one step closer to a very interesting offseason. A loss means we’re even nearer to selling at the deadline and seeing the core broken up at the draft.

If this game is any indication, playoff hockey won’t include any Flames games. However, the Flames have the excuse they are missing 2 top 4 defensemen and a 3rd line centre.
