Defensively the team has been a tire fire. Some serious chances for the Hawks........breakaways, odd man rushes, guys open in the slot.....it's kind of baffling how they are just checking out mentally defensively.

Guess it's time to pour a rum and hope for a miracle in the 3rd.

Apologize all you want but he won't be coaching the team the next season. When a team plays defense as poorly as this the coaching staff doesn't get a free pass.

I’m not sure the coach is any good. He’s coach by default.....I’m sure we could do better. But coaching isn’t why Dube throws it in the slot unpressured on a break out for example.

Why would they want to coach the Flames right now? There's a lot of issues and some major moves that need to be made this summer. They'll have plenty of offers this summer, not sure why they'd jump at the chance to coach this team. If I was them I'd wait and see what my options were.

I really want the Flames to hire an elite coach so people realize that the coach isn’t the problem, the lack of talent is. No coach is fixing this team.

Yeah, was going to say, I’m not sure at all they’re available right now. Maybe Boudreau, but I think they other two have probably decided to wait til next season when the options are way more numerous.
