My guess is that's 3 or 4 for a legit first offender. 4 more for a repeat offender, and tack on a couple more because Kasssian was just suspended for not being able to keep his cool.

8-10 is my guess.

On one hand I know the NHL badly wants McDavid in the playoffs but Kassain has played pretty poorly of late and you could argue suspending him is addition by subtraction. I do think that like the NFL did with Burfict they may want to send a message to this player.

It should be a very high number.

It wasn’t a soccer kick, toe first. It was an outward / upward kick, blade out.

He led with the blade. Kickboxing style.

He is a friggin’ menace

TBH a lot of Oilers fans at HF fully expect him to get a decent sized suspension. The media on the other hand will probably whine about it.

Kassian has discipline problems. He's a danger on the ice. Team bias judgement aside, putting other people at risk with assault type moves is not acceptable in the league these days.

His judgement and brain aren't working. Total hazard on the ice to players.

Those arent dull pond hockey blades. Them sucker's are razor sharp. It's common sense you dont use them in any other fashion than to move on the ice. Kassian should be done for the season, playoffs. Screw that noise.

Funny, I see them as liberal safe -space POC that act like their ends justify any means there Peter Strzok.

Was tricked into clicking on Spector's newest fanatical take by Sportsnet. Obviously suggest you don't click on it or read it.

Within the article, he legitimately calls out Erik Cernak for pinning down the "tiny" Josh Archibald. Yes, he actually uses the word "tiny" in his whining.

This is the same Josh Archibald who is among the top 15 forwards in the entire NHL this year in hits per game, among names like Garnet Hathaway, Marcus Foligno, Chris Wagner, Milan Lucic, Adam Lowry, Casey Cizikas, and the caveman Zack Kassian himself. Poor "tiny" Josh Archibald indeed.

What a complete asshat. He tries so hard to play it off as a neutral but always throws in some dumbass barb or phrase to try and softly sway things toward his whining.

Oh yeah, dedicates an entire paragraph to Tkachuk, of course. #rentfree

It's times like this where stupid people draw attention to themselves and make it clearly evident to most just how stupid they are. Let Spector keep making an ass of himself and eventually enough people will tune him out and he'll disappear into the twilight of his lacklustre career.

There have been 13 suspensions this year for on ice incidents.

5 were ruled the following day. 7 of them were ruled within two days of the incident and 1 was three days later.
