Yeah if there was ever a case for there to be a suspension of 8+ games, this is it. Intent to injure plain and simple, and the guy just had another hearing with DoPS a few weeks ago.

Pretty sure staples outed his HF account (nabob) last night by trying to defend the "I cant see a camera angle where he made contact" for several hours point. No one else is stupid enough to think that's a worthwhile point to make, right?

It appears the NHL is satisfied with the camera angles they have seen. Have to imagine it's going to be 8+ games. The league needs to send a message to this guy before he really hurts someone.

I dont understand how any of these guys think this will be anything short of a lengthy suspension.
We have precedent (30 games for Simon), a repeat offender already on the radar in the last month, and a guy who admitted what he did..

Certainly the fact that he had a hearing and was suspended, then proceeded to openly criticize the DOPS in the media for the decision all less than a month ago will help him during this hearing.
