Mhmmm, roasted duck and coffee beans smell soooo good at 5:00 in the morning.
Now, Ward has to start practicing breakouts. Jesus what a mess.
We're lucky Anaheim didn't have the horses to capitalise, but they showed us exactly what Colorado figured out already. Forecheck.
Two guys after puck carriers and one "skulker" behind, Calgary D-man "passes" along the board to winger who tries to tip to center. Everytime. They must have turned it over 15 times like that, maybe more.
This team is awesome of the rush. Work that stretch pass!

If the Flames had a real coach they would have won 7-0

It's really just Mony. Johnny is doing fine now and it's pretty tough for Gio, as he's in Calgary....

What a strange team we have. Struggle to score all season while leading in the league in times being shut out. Struggled against bottom feeders. Struggled to score against back ups.
Now they’re scoring at will, beating bottom feeders and getting goals from all kinds of struggling players like Jankowski and Backlund. Funny game.

Well the standings are tight as hell right now, and Flames still not quite where you’d like them. But this is encouraging, just can’t have any more mini losing streaks.
Gaudreau playing better is such a positive sign.
