For those keeping track at home:
James Neal scored 7 goals in 67 games with the Flames.
Milan Lucic now has 6 goals in 54 games with the Flames and costs $1.25 million less than Neal does for the Oilers.

So you are comparing Neal and Lucic's seasons with the Flames. Then you should also compare their salaries based on what they were making when playing with the Flames (not Oilers)
I get that you are trying your best to show that Lucic > Neal .. but you aren't comparing apples to apples.
