Hahaha under 135 lbs. Maybe the bottom 2/3s of my legs are 135.
It actually should have been 165 lbs....my bad. But yes, I should have read into the other comments. Either way, sub 8 mins is still pretty solid. Particularly if you haven't been rowing regularly.

I need to do the 2000m challenge still, but I'd also like to hear what everyone can do 5000m in. Just an awful distance on the rower, you will feel like death after.
An environment in which a person encounters only beliefs or opinions that coincide with their own, so that their existing views are reinforced and alternative ideas are not considered.
There's not really any distance that's too much if you pace yourself. I've done a bunch of 10ks, if you just give yourself an hour to do it it's fine.

I haven't done the 2000m yet, but likely about 9min since I am out of shape. 1000m is just over 4 min now. the videos sure helped, but I still don't feel too much in my legs even though the force chart is right according to the video, I don't get the burn there. Any other advice not in the video
What is your Pace on those 2000m, like how many strokes pure min?

We test the rower all the time (crossfit). I can pull 500 meters in 1:27, 1000 in 3:05, 1500 in 5:13, 2000 meters is 7:03.
I'm 44, just over 6' and approx 205lbs with gangly arms and long legs. Which is pretty beneficial on the rower; most taller, big guys can generate far more power than smaller people can. You don't need to be a fire breather at all to score well.
I've never tested a 5000 and there's about a 0% chance I will anytime soon (unless it's programmed). Rowing suuuuucks....I'd rather be on the Airdyne.
