Stayed true to my word and skipped the rest of the game after 3-1 and the lack of anger I have right now is oddly unsettling. Seriously though Tre, stop farting around, pinching your pennies and get one of the two top tier coaches currently available.

I find it odd that Haynes and DeBoer are both coaching their second teams this year. I thought fired coaches like Gallant and Laviolette do not coach again for the rest of the year.

Flames are a well oiled machine though, I am sure Brad has a plan. Onward to Vancouver.

I wonder what the story is on Gallant.

Somehow, Saturday broke both Alberta teams, and somehow this is stupid Edmonton and their stupid media's fault.

How do these guys learn to get to the middle, or the net? They're kept outside way too much.

Ward’s version of Sutter’s all Dman PP from back in the day.

Since all the good players can’t be bothered to show up, put out the guy with no skill and all heart.

The crap o meter was fine, they had almost 40 shots on goal. The biggest issue with this team is there is no system and poor coaching. Ward's system is listening to Tiny fn Dancer.

There is nothing to salvage. Even a top six forward isn't going to turn the flames into a contender. In fact I'd be worried BT will make a bad trade which sacrifices the future in a deep draft.

If it's an immediate coaching change no prob as at least no assets will be given up.

If flames can't score, lets play real good D game, so they can win in SO. Call Sutter.

In all seriousness great loss, the Flames need to lose to the teams that can keep the Oilers out of the playoffs. It is the best they can do for Flames fans this year.

Imagine a team where we subtract 50% of the forwards who care.

That’s where we’ll be while our players are golfing and Sam Bennett is playing Playoff hockey in...Boston?

Yup. This year's cooked. Break in a new coach by letting him play out the string, dump UFAs for draft assets. She's done, boys,

This season can still be salvaged with a coach hire but it’s gotta be done ASAP.

This division and playoff format is going to allow one of the pacific five into the conference finals. Flames with a new coach can get there, I truly believe that. No one in the division is standing amongst the rest as some unbeatable team.

Holding onto Ward out of a sense of loyalty or whatever is going on is ridiculous. He’s had his run, it’s clear things aren’t working with him. Thanks Geoff but it’s time to move on.
