Chucky looked pretty pissed at Guadreau rifling a backhand around the boards when they were only 3 feet away from each other.

I will start by saying I don’t think all these teams issues are the fault of a coach.

But I’m at the point now where I’m pretty sure Ward is not a top end NHL head coach.

They went on a run, and he used some really fun tactics to turn the mood around the team and go on a run but since then I haven’t really don’t think he’s been great.

The constant line juggling for the forwards has hurt more than it’s helped lately. Our defensive structure and 200ft team game has regressed under him IMO. And I feel like the team has started to fall back into the mental fragility they showed under GG.

Now I do think part of this issue is the core players still struggling and the roster composition, but I don’t think he’s the long term answer at head coach either

Not sure if you're including Lindholm in this but he was key in screening the goalie on the Rasmus goal

I took that more as frustration for stopping a pass that seemed to be meant to go back to the D.

I get the sense that the Buddy Robinson experiment is about to come to an end.

In my eyes Treliving has attempted to find "the next genius coach" and failed already in Gulutzan, and is on track to go 0 for 2 if he sticks with Ward. I like Ward but I am getting incredibly strong GG vibes from this team. Bad special teams. Slow starts. Lots of shots but no finish. Show up for only part of the game.

At this point it would probably be best for the Flames to, at maximum, squeak into the playoffs and get bounced in the 1st round again so the upper management under the stern glare of ownership (ah who am I kidding, those cheapskate ####s!) hire a more proven coach with a track record of playoff success, if not Cup experience. Who then brings in his own guys.

I could stand in front of a net while someone else scores.

I would like them to give Glenn Gawdin a look in that same spot. Why not see what we have there.

One thing that could improve this team's results is executing on a 2 on 1 once every blue moon. I can't remember the last time they scored on a 2 on 1, and they've had plenty of them recently.

I took it as why are you trying to ring it around 3/4 of the zone when I’m standing three feet away from you behind the net.

Wow, monahan has been on the ice for 37 even strength goals for this season.

Last year this time? 59.

Last year Gaudreau was on the ice for 64 even strength goals for at this point in the season.

This year? 34
