Sharks getting some pretty great chances. Tough not to score on those.
It's tough for the Flames though. :-(

Flames have had 5 shots from good angles that the goalie stopped no problem.

Can we get Kane? He's got that DNA we're looking for.

I'd rather overpay for a very useful player than throw money at players who are barely NHLers.

Since when do wingers cover wingers in front of the net?

Well the Flames have obviously had more pretty great chances...they just haven't buried them

They would not have to eat any of the contract value if they wanted to trade him. He is a consistent 28-30 goal man who plays a power forward game, 7 million is good value for him.

I was told the Sharks have bad goaltending...

Sharks only in this cause of Dell. Hopefully the Flames can even it up before the third.

I think if I was Tre I would be double time working the phones before he gets a call from someone up top. Same old thing again and needs to get fixed if this team is going anywhere.

I do understand the need for the split in the defensive pairings. It's like each pairing, aside from Gio/Ras most of the time- is like a see-saw. Instead of flowing nicely with their strengths together, one player has to account for the other's weakness. It's maddening that the Flames can't have pairing based on strengths instead of based on who has to babysit the weaker player. Maybe that's a bit harsh, but it's hard to watch.

From the replay, Kane and Mangiapane were side by side along the boards, then he leaves Kane behind and Kane walks in uncovered.

Being a Flames fan has taught me to never be excited about a backup goalie playing.

This team has been wandering in the desert since last years all star break. Something screwed with the mojo and they haven’t found it since.

Dube easily pushed down by the linesman. Making a case for being softer on his skates then Mangipane.

Unbelievable
No one should be surprised by this result. It's a matchup where the Flames are a the favourites based on records. Flames typically never score, and end up on the losing end.

This is going as expected right now.
