Ha ha. The english version of this song was on my favorites playlist for a while and it translates surprisingly well to German.

They've also released a song in German now and they have my utmost respect for that. Well done.

Deep Blue is an absolute must have album for any metal collection. Atlas too. Parkway Drive hits hard. Love them.

Youtube just randomly suggested this to me right after Candlemass, and damn I think I have a new favorite band now. Ukraine is just killing it lately in the world of metal

"I can't believe it's not Lacuna Coil!"

EDIT: oh, and of course they toured together last summer makes sense.

Without the annoying male vocalist that takes up half the song. They also dive into the symphonic side more than LC does

I'm still on a bit of a Japan binge. Really like Ningen Isu, you can hear a lot of Sabbath in them.

also started to get into Maximum the Hormone. Bit hit or miss for me, but some really good stuff too.

German metalcore band Heaven Shall Burn are releasing a new double album in March. The new stuff sounds good, can't wait.

Really looking forward to Ignea's new album. Single just came out today

Ukraine seems to have cornered the female vocalist with angelic/demonic voice market

I was listening to this in the background doing other stuff. Then that monster riff drops around the 3 minute mark and I had to stop and give it my full attention. I'm hooked now

Please tell me you know of Church of Misery. Japanese doom metal with heavy Black Sabbath influences / references. They just played at Dickens too and were incredible!

Maori and metal are such an awesome mix that I'm honestly surprised these kids are the first to do it

The Hu did a song for an EA Star Wars game it seems. Too bad this isn't on Spotify, really like this one, especially the final 3 minutes or so.
