If it's a coin flip I guess I'm confused why all those players are out there playing a game for 60 (+) minutes.

Flames 3 games to Oilers 1 still equal to E=NG.

Very disappointed in Lucic in the 3rd. Chucky has now fought 3 times in this series, and tonight was a blow out. He needed to respond, brutal.

Only thing more embarrassing is the over reaction to one loss. Had you told me we’d go 3-1 to the Oilers so far before game 1 and gain 3 points on them in the act I’d have taken it in a heart beat. The calls to blow up a team currently in a playoff position are embarrassing. This team requires some moves no doubt, but the fan base clearly isn’t mentally tough enough to deal with the highs and lows and the tiny margins of difference between teams in today’s NHL.

Take a deep breath. It’s a lesson game. Make this last years penguin loss.

The Oilers are crap & will be the author of their own demise.

This is the wake up call they needed.

All that being said somebody needs to explain to me how Monahan has improved this year because of his apparent new focus on defense and physical play. He's not playing against top lines but has the worst plus/minus on a team with a terrible goal differential and is on pace for one of his worst goal totals since he came into the league.

How he seems to get a free pass is mind boggling to me.
He has improved his 200 foot game. But right now, because Johnny does that curl every time, Monahan can’t drive to the net, because the puck is likely to be going the other way. It’s reduced his effectiveness.

How many no shows have they had this year. They have played almost 55 games, they aren't snapping out of it. This is who they are.

One positive that came out of this game: Tkachuk is this team's next Captain.

I feel like hoping for Gaudreau and Monahan to step up as major game breaking players is over. They are consistently disappearing from the most intense games.

Maybe Ward figures Hanifin has to work through his issues on-ice.

But that was horrible, he looked like a call-up, and if he were a call-up, he'd be on the bus home right this second.

This is the team, guys. Depth. Mediocrity in buckets.

Disappointed...again. On to the next one. Can't be bothered getting upset. It is up to them to find the answer. Not me.

And celebrating like you've won the Stanley cup on a 8th goal penalty shot late in the game isn't.
