Lucic clearly doesn’t want to get “involved” against his old pals. He is useless

Nurse seems to have a blank cheque for holding and cross checking.

Flames are the better team but I don't know how they answer against McDavid since Gaudreau is taking the season off.

We've all been watching Gaudreau more because hes been around the puck even though he's not been any good. Monahan however would have been just as impactful if he was watching the game on his couch like the rest of us.

Ryan and Mangiapane are small but don't play scared of their own shadow.

There are dozens of small players in the NHL with heart. Not sure why some feel Johnnys stature excuses him.

I don’t like it either, I’m just saying some of these comments read like they’re from people who are pretty used to not being the smallest guy in the room.

Not really a fair comparison. Fleury was this awesome ball of hate that was solid and pretty tough. Gaudreau is a shy skilled soft player. Fleury was pretty unique.

Brodie and Andersson are the flames only decent dmen this year. We all are talking about the sweeping changes at forward, but the flames aren't winning anything with Giordano, Hanafin, Hamonic, kylington, and stone as your nhl dmen.

If I see one more forward go to the outside to take a shot from the boards rather than digging in and working to get into the slot, I’m going to have to have a lot more to drink. Or yell.

Randorf called Rittich "Vernon" just after the goalie fight. Patrick Russell is whoever you need him to be.

Gaudreau has been terrible for the majority of these playoff level games. The Flames will go nowhere with their top offensive player dealing with whatever shell shock he has this season. Its not like the playoffs are going to be easier.

When Johnny is engaged, he backchecks and picks pockets. He carries the puck to the middle of the ice instead of dishing it off. He is not engaged this game.
