Rough period. Tough to give up 2 early ones like that.
Lots of time left, though. It's definitely not over. Need the top guys to pick up the pace. Still not sure why Lucic is playing. He's big........great. But if he doesn't run around against his old team he's pretty much useless.

I dont understand why lucic looks so indifferent always
That penalty call was atrocious
But the oilers still look like they have a brutal d and goalie and flames can come back

This was the complaint I heard all the time from Oilers' fans. He doesn't play hard against former teams/teammates.

Should be 1-1. Refs let an obvious hold by McDavid go on the first goal. And the call on Hamonic was absurd.

Outside of the first minute I don’t think they played too bad, but they really dropped the ball with that start.
Oh, and Sportsnet is the worst.

Flames haven't had a truly great coach since D. Sutter, and don't show any signs of being willing to pony up now.
