Great win. With the penalties and the Kassian thing it's nice to still come with a W. Ritter is awesome. Buddy had a good first, but not much after. Would love to see more from him next game vs the Oil
SNet is insufferable. Friedman can suck it, what a sell out. Never liked Mr Warm noodles, but I know many here did. He is an ass licker.

Like, score on a breakaway?
Or just score, at all?
Or be effective without the puck?
I'm so down on JG this year, he's looked dead for a year now, I just can't imagine what's wrong. Maybe he needs some vitamin D.

IDK, Gaudreau setup a couple guys for what should have been goals
Look at the guys opposite him...Backlund, Ryan, Lucic, Robinson
how many goals combined this season?

Ya, I get it that he may not fight, but he was rather invisible. Would rather play Dube.

We have the tie-breaker wrapped up now? Six points to one, with two games left.

Felt like he didn't play that much, I chalked it up to all the PKs in the 3rd. I liked what I saw, though. Last night and tonight. Keep it going Benny.
|
i had the same impression, it's why i had to check.
At 14:48 I'm pretty sure he got ended up 6th in forward icetime, all of it even strength.
There were a lot of passengers tonight though. Lindholm and backlund were both over 21 minutes. Tkachuk almost hit 20.
18 and a half quiet minutes from gaudreau. That's rough when you've got reider seeing less than 10 and rinaldo seeing less than 6.
That was a shortened bench tonight. I get that you want to give Reider a chance against the oilers, but I think Jankowski was probably worth slotting in tonight. Those are hard minutes for Backlund at 21 when Ryan is playing less than 13.

What are you expecting in a game that never got out of hand? I’m sure Chuky wanted to do what he did, so at what point tonight would you have Lucic potentially respond for the fact he fought up a class? And given there was nothing that happened otherwise to warrant anything in a one goal or tie game, what do you expect.
You are basically asking him to cost us the game Kassian style, he’s too smart for that.

According to ched, the flames had it easy because they played last night, and the oilers were rusty.

If I can make a plea to Gaskal and his ATL...
Please take your time with the ATL.
There was so much buildup leading towards this game and having previewed their forums, It’s worth seeing all of the saltiness on their side of the fence

Or Jankowski to kill penalties.
Imagine if we had a forward or two and then play these guys in the playoffs. He would deservedly be on the bubble.

Anyone who thinks the Oilers weren't all in on this game need only look at the time stats. 27:45 for McDavid. This really was their Stanley Cup.

I think they're all waiting for the NHL brass to get out of town so they can open it up Saturday.
