Technically the play would be dead as soon as he plays it in the trapezoid because of posession so the delay of game shooting it out wouldn’t count

Well technically as soon as he touched it, it’s a penalty and play is dead, so wouldnt matter where the puck ended up after.

Feels like Lucic is holding back against his old team.

Yeah in baseball they can tell you the number of revolutions in a baseball when the pitcher throws from the mound to home plate.
The answer isn't in cameras. There simply need to be sensors. It's ridiculous as it shouldn't be a judgment. It should be a question of fact.

There's some red still in that angle.
Anyway, the point of reviews is if it's inconclusive, the call stands. With how much it looks like it's still touching red, you can't say for certain it's a goal. So right call.

Certainly not a lot of emotion. You don't see him pushing guys around or chirping. You hate to accuse him of that but games like this are the reason they traded for him.

Ugh. Was only a matter of time with the way the Flames have played in this period. Get it together, guys.

Neal and hamonic really have something going here.
Lots of stick work.
And just like that, Kailer Hockey ties it up.

That goal's on Rieder. He had a chance to get it out before the icing, but gave it away to Nurse. Then he loses the faceoff clean, which led to the quick play goal.
