I still see the puck touching the red line

No goal was the right call

Yeah, I'm not saying it was a goal, just wanted to see a pic or vid from overhead. The camera at the back of the net isn't a great angle.

Its a tough break but yeah...they aren't gonna call that a goal

Gelly's goal was more in than that

Lucic does look to be taking it easy on his old team. At least in that period.

It's 2020 and the NHL still can't give us a top down view from the crossbar.

We can send cars to freaking Mars, but we can't put cameras on the crossbar pointing down.

I just really hope Kassian ends up getting laid out on his face again tonight by anyone, but bonus if its Chucky.

Really fun period.

Agreed with those saying no goal was the right call. Extremely close but I don’t think it was fully across the line.

Sports, not just hockey has ebs and flows throughout the game. At some point one team is dominating, and then at some point the other is.

Flames are up 1-0 in the 1st intermission in a game that had (fabricated) high energy built up beforehand, and is living up to it.

It's a enjoyable start to the game for sure.

Exactly. If it was the other way around and a goal was called good against the flames, we would be livid.

I thought lucic was fine. I think he laid a decent hit on McDavid. No full time nhl regular is going to lay a massive hit on McDavid.

You still see it after all this time and two posts later?

I only saw him refrain from putting McDavid into the boards, which was smart, because he’d have gotten a penalty no matter how clean it was. I did see him cause a couple turnovers by Dmen who heard footsteps.
